Broker Support Specialist (Para Broker)

We’re hiring a Broker Support Specialist (Para Broker) to assist mortgage brokers by managing loan applications, ensuring precision, and maintaining compliance standards. In this role, you’ll work closely with our team to streamline loan processes and deliver outstanding service to clients.

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Broker Support Specialist (Para Broker) to join our team at Elite Business Staffing. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting mortgage brokers by managing loan applications, ensuring compliance, and facilitating smooth transactions. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Tasks & Duties

Work in all areas of the home loan cycle.
Support our current Mortgage Broking team across all leads and clients.
Adhere to all credit frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Conduct serviceability assessments with lenders.
Enter and maintain customer data.
Liaise with Brokers to clarify scenarios to provide the best outcome for the client.
Order valuations followed by conducting pricing requests.
Review each loan to verify that all documentation is available, accurate, and completed, prior to underwriting and preparing submissions to lenders.
Liaise with lenders during the assessment process.
Ongoing loan management from application through to settlement.
Service client’s post-settlement.
Utilise the Salestrekker CRM and various other systems and tool.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience in loan processing or a similar role, preferably 2+ years within mortgage broking.
Thorough knowledge of loan products, regulatory compliance, and documentation.
Excellent written, communication and telephone skills are essential.
A detail-focused approach, commitment to accuracy and problem solving.
Capable of performing well in a dynamic, fast-paced, and deadline-oriented environment.
Experience with ApplyOnline, Salestrekker, and Quickli will be highly regarded.
Experience with property investors & self-employed financials will be highly regarded.

Negotiable

Working hours:

6:00 am to 2:00 pm including a 1-hour lunch break.

5:00 am to 1:00 om including a 1-hour lunch break.
