Loan Processing Associate

We’re hiring a Loan Processing Associate to efficiently manage and process loan applications while ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will collaborate with our team to facilitate smooth loan operations and provide exceptional service to our clients.

Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Loan Processing Associate to join our team at Elite Business Staffing. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the loan origination process, ensuring that all loan applications are processed efficiently and accurately. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Data Entry & Loan Application Processing: Accurately input loan application data into lender platforms, ensuring all necessary information is correctly entered for smooth processing.
Pre-Submission to Settlement Assistance: Assist clients in processing and tracking their home loan applications from initial submission through to settlement, keeping them informed of their progress at all stages.
Client Liaison: Proactively liaise with clients to request supporting documentation and provide timely updates on their loan application status.
Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, referrers, and other business agents to ensure a seamless process and positive experience for all parties involved.
CRM Management: Keep detailed and up-to-date notes on client applications using our dedicated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, ensuring timely follow-ups and task completion.
Compliance: Work closely with finance brokers to ensure all loan processes adhere to compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service by being proactive, responsive, and attentive to client needs throughout the loan process.
Autonomy & Initiative: Take ownership of assigned tasks, demonstrating the ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Problem-Solving & Challenges: Be ready to take on challenges, find solutions to complex loan scenarios, and show a strong determination to prove your abilities.

Qualifications

Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or equivalent certification in finance, accounting, or related fields.
Experience: Experience in loan processing, credit analysis, or a related role within the mortgage broking or financial services industry is preferred.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot inaccuracies and address issues efficiently.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and stakeholders.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple loan files and prioritize tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve complex loan processing challenges.
Team Player: Willingness to learn, collaborate, and work well with others in a team setting.
Eager to Learn: A positive attitude and a willingness to grow within the role, taking on new responsibilities as you develop.
Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of lending regulations and compliance requirements in Australia’s mortgage industry.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Loan Processing Systems: Familiarity with loan processing platforms, CRMs or lender portals is a plus.
Customer Service Experience: Any experience in a customer service role can be beneficial for communicating with clients and brokers.

Negotiable

Working hours:

6:00 am to 2:00 pm including a 1-hour lunch break.
