Social Media Assistant

We’re hiring a Social Media Assistant to support our digital marketing team in creating, scheduling, and managing content across various platforms. In this role, you’ll help grow our online presence, engage with audiences, and ensure brand consistency while staying up to date with social media trends.

Summary

We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team. This position is ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow in the field of social media marketing. You will assist in developing and executing social media strategies, creating engaging content, and building our online presence, including working with our diverse clients from Australia.

Tasks & Duties

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field (or currently pursuing). 
  • 1+ year of experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or a related field  
  • (internships or volunteer experience welcome).  
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Basic knowledge of social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).  
  • Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) is a plus.  
  • Understanding of content creation and copywriting principles.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Creative mindset with a passion for social media and digital trends.  
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks.  
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Working hours

6:00 am to 2:00 pm including a 1-hour lunch break.
